kahr model size difference?

Hi, all. I'm new to Kahrs, just ordered a cw45. I was wondering what models are the same size, for holster purposes? I wasn't sure if this needed to go in the holster forum, if so I apologize. Thank you

Your CW45 is the same size as a P45 and K45 (dang...wishful thinking on that last one)

I will tell you most of the 9mm holsters are too small the cw45. I have one leather holster that will fit both but the 45 fits pretty tight. None of my oyhers work.

Just stick with the 45 caliber holsters. You can get away with CM and PM if the muzzle end is open. You can usually mix 9mm with 40sw but 45 caliber will be on its own unless you find something with adjustable tension. I use a Yaqui slide for a do-all OWB holster. There is enough adjustment to fit almost ANY semi-auto.

There some holster at Kahr site too. Most other holster makers cover the 45 . Just know that a holster for a cw OR P will work along with one for the shorter pm45, It will just be shorter.

I still recommend Alien Gear for IWB. they fit the CW45 great, no break in to speak of. almost no printing. For $36 it's hard to beat

Holster maker here.

The 9 mm and 40 are usually the same. You got a 45. You rill need a holster specifically fit that gun. The cm and pm holsters won't work because they are too short. The other cw holsters won't work because the 45 is wider than the 9mm and 40. I have a pm45. I made my ow no course but have never seen a holster for this gun out and about. The cw45 is newer. I imagine you'll have a hard time getting something stock. It will probably need to be a custom order. Let me know if I can help.

That's a Pearce extension. Some of us here have ground them down to suit our needs. I left just enough so my pinky doesn't dangle. I don't like to dangle. Just sayin'.
