Well I just couldn't wait.. I received this little gem this morning. I waited for UPS to deliver my factory ammo and they didnt show. So I had a buddy try a few rounds of my reloads that I got from a reputable dealer at the Florida gun show. I know some of you said (no Reloads) but I couldnt wait. He ran a few through his ruger 380 and no problems. So I went through 100 rds, I cleaned and lubed the gun before shooting and then after each 50 rounds. I had 3 that I had to slap the slide, and 3 times the slide didnt stay back after last round. It seems to be getting better with each outing, I am shooting to the left but that's got to be me, being a novice, I am going to blow off the other 100 rds in a day or so, then the factory loads. Then some of my defense loads.

So it was a cw380? I'm presuming so since you mentioned .380 ammo. Sounds ok for the first outing with a cw380.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Sounds great. Next time don't clean it so often. I think not locking back is due to thumb contact with the slide lock but you've likely heard that before. How about shooting one handed or just the last round.

Cleaning every fifty rounds during the break-in period is highly recommended by that near genius, muggsy. It's insurance against the occasional bobble that causes so much consternation among those new to Kahr pistols. A clean gun is a happy gun. It's far more beneficial than hand racking the pistol ten thousand times and doesn't cause blisters, or torn rotator cuffs.

Not sure why I am shooting to the left, it has to be me.

Try experimenting with trigger finger placement. For me that "revolver crease" behind the first knuckle works best.
