  • New Kahr Pistol Owner

I just bought my first Kahr pistol. New to me (used) Kahr P40 Covert. I ran the serial number through Kahr, they informed me that it was manufactured January 2004. It does not appear to have been fired much. I have not had the opportunity to fire it yet, however, the rounds load smoothly from the magazine cycling the slide by hand. I can't wait to get in some range time with it.

Congrats. Welcome. Help yourself to the beer in Jocko's or Muggsy's fridge.

How ya doin JD. I'm well acquainted with your cousin JC. Glad to have a man of your stature aboard. If you haven't already guessed, I'm the black sheep of the family, but I'll take it easy on you as long as you obey the rules. First, pay no attention to the moderators. For the most part they're toothless, except for Bawanna. He's the one to watch out for, him being a face shooter and all. Second, take any advice that you get from Jocko with a grain of salt. He's well meaning, but senile. If there's anything you need to know about Kahr firearms you've come to the right place. Between Greg and I we know everything there is to know. What Jocko knows you could put in a thimble with plenty of room left for your finger and I think that I'll be getting the finger soon, if I know Jocko.

Doing good muggsy. I have no problem with following rules, life is just easier that way. I will be sure to steer clear of Bawanna, I'd like to keep my face. I have dealt with senile people before so Jocko won't be a problem. I look forward to learning all I can about the Kahr products. Most people I talk to either don't know anything about them or have had a negative experience with a Kahr. I'll stop in from time to time to say "hi" and see what's new.

To know bawanna is to love bawanna. Nothing to fear here but fear itself.

Someone once referred to me as a hatchet man so I banned him, no idea what he meant.......

When I need a good laugh....I always visit the Kahr forum. Much better than SNL.

Look closely, if that young lady in the cartoon fires that gun, she's about to incur injury to one or both thumbs.
