    Chamber marks

    Hello,

CW9 slide and NEW barrel showed up yesterday. Barrel does look better, no imperfections in the barrel. However, in the chamber there are two small dots. Sort of look Hexagonal in shape. They are directly across from each other on opposite sides of the chamber. I did run a bore brush thru and they remain. If you blow up the attached photo I believe you can see one of them. Any opinions ? Hopefully, to the range tomorrow to break it in.

      Hello,

Took the CW9 to the range today. It fired perfectly, 0 malfunctions in 200 rounds of quality, full ball rage ammo. Very happy with these results. Still curious about the marks in the chamber.

If it works don't mess with it. Most of the times these things work themselves out

What he said. After 1000 rounds that plating will be smoked up anyway (at least mine is] unless you polish it. By the way the cw9 is one of the nicest kahrs i think. I had one with over 1000 rounds and it never failed even once. Like a fool I traded it for a cm9 which I still have and love. Ended up getting a ct9 too which ia awesome. By the way I can limp wrist intentionally all my kahr 9mm's and none of them ever malfunction. You have a good gun there.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

with the exception of my mags dropping on me with my CW40 (even still it always went bang when I pulled the trigger) all of my kahr pistols have been 100% reliable with all sorts of ammo weight, types & brand.
