My problem with the field stripping isn't so much the slide stop pin, it's that my slides take a bit of "fiddling" to get them off. I got some great advice on this forum in another thread about how to do that, 4 or 5 steps that helped me a lot.

My pistols are doing well on accepting ammo now, at least the CM9 seems to accept anything I've used so far. The CW380 does not like American Eagle or Geco FMJ. All SD rounds I've tried in both pistols function 100%, and that of course is most important.

Still after about 400 rounds, failure to lock back is common. Finicky about ammo, but we all know that. Narrowing down what works and what does not. Most round nose
      works, but not all.

One thing I am noticing, and I do not know exactly why....... When used one handed, the slide locks back on the last round EVERY TIME.

So, yesterday, I tried to loosen my death grip on the support/non dom hand - and sure enough - lock back on last round every time. A revelation, I'd say.

I love my CW - it fits so well in hand and STICKY pocket Holster for summer. Is very accurate, as stated above.

+1. I find that good form works better than a death grip on these guns.

I was going to mention what I thought was the cause, but you figured it out anyway!
