by the way, I like that color.

Thanks for the continued responses. I got out a little late and managed to get 50 rounds through it with no problems. Fun little shooter for sure.

Im not too worried about the wear on the cerakote inside the frame. Just wasn't sure if that was and indication of something out of the norm.

They did ceracote the frame and the slide stop. The slide stop is the only piece that wasn't the best. The slide and trigger are smith and look very good.

Good report. if you get the itch and want some contrast you coild always put a stainless slide stop on it. or even just polish the one you got but that may be a bit more work.

Maybe someday down the road I'll pick up a new slide stop or polish this one up but for now it Isn't bad just not as good as the other pieces.

Got ot out again today and got another 100 rounds through it. Still running like a champ with no malfunctions.

I either have to adjust the screw or I am hitting the slide stop with my thumb because the slide never locks back on an empty mag. I'll probably worry about that later.

Also the side of my trigger finger seems to get beat up by the trigger guard. Probably a technique issue there though.

Anyway, digging this little kahr, hoping it keeps running strong. 👍

I figured I could do a little update here. I made it through the 200 break in rounds and have had zero hiccups. I've tried a few different brands and nothing has slowed it down. I think locking the slide back for a few days when you first get the gun helps a lot.

I am still having trouble with getting the slide to lock back on the last round but I think it is just where my thumb is sitting it is hitting the slide stop lever.

Also as I mentioned above and I did make a little joke video with the gun. I posted a link in the general forum but I figured I could toss it here as well if anyone is interested in it.

I have the same trigger finger problem with my CW380. Use as little of your trigger finger pad as you feel comfortable with and it may help a little.

Ill try that next time I get out. I actually have the remnants of a blood blister on my finger from shooting the first day.

The gun has eaten up a little over 250 rounds now without a failure (not counting slide locking back on empty). It is fun to shoot and I am kind of getting used to the sights.

I put the night sights on mine and find them much easier to use. $80 plus $40 for installation and sighting in. A great up grade for me. With glasses I see the sights and without I see the target. It isn't a matter of total blindness, just a matter of sharpness. I usually shoot half with and half without.

Kahr's night sights or another brand?

I got them from Kahr. The back dovetail was too tight to move without a pusher so I took it to a gunsmith. The price was reasonable and he lined them up and test shot it. Mostly they are bigger and easier to line up quickly with my bad eyes.

Cool. I might have to look into those. I do like having night sights.
