With both my CM9 and CW380, they were tight out of the box and found that 500 rounds is when they started to be reliable. However, after about 150 rounds in one shooting the gun will get dirty and dry. They liked to be well lubed and work the slide several times a day and even store it a few days with the slide locked back. I trust both guns now and they have not malfunctioned since the 500 rounds if they are cleaned and lubed.
