CW380 - the Weapon of Mass Destruction.

Took my CW380s to the range for a little excercise. This is what's left of the 20yd backstop - it's under the pile of rubble. They taped off the adjoining 15 yard backstop to avoid ricochet issues.

Be very careful when you unleash the awesome destructive power of the mighty CW380.

Nah - when I got to the range, this is what I found. The property is an old slate quarry, and landslides like this are not uncommon.

There was a 20' high dirt wall behind the backstops. The slate came from higher up.

Club rules don't allow 50 cal centerfire rifles on the rifle range due to the damage they can cause to the wood frames of the backstops. The guys that were there were joking that they're gonna outlaw my CW380s for the same reason.
