  • Kahr pistol round count

Currently the only Kahr I own is the CW380. I’ve had others in the past but have always sold or traded them to fund the next new gun. I have a range at my house and shoot my carry guns pretty often. This 380 is my newest gun so it only has about 400 rounds through it and I love it. It’s the most shoot able pocket gun I’ve ever had. I was curious to hear some of the round counts you guys have on your kahrs.

Jocko a long time if not respected member has upwards of 40,000 through his PM9.

They'll go a far piece for sure.

I have probably less than a 1000 through my PM 45, probably half again that for my K40.
Still real low count on my K9.

1000+ through my cm9 and not one problem.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I quit keeping a log years ago but I'd put my round count through my various Kahrs at something north of 12,000. Only my HKs have been shot more than the Kahrs. So far the Kahrs have suffered only one catastrophic failure, that in the K9, the most used of the bunch.
Judging by today's left wing, looks like Senator Joe McCarthy was right after all.

That’s good to hear. I really like shooting the CW380 but worried about wearing it out. Nice to know it can handle some real range time.

                  My current Kahr’s:

                  CM9 1000
                  CT380 250

                  So far flawless.

muggsy: Let's face it, being shot by a .380 will ruin anyone's day.

                    CW45 - maybe 350 rounds
                    CT380 - about 250 rounds.
CW9 - 0 rounds - just haven't gotten around to shootin' it yet - am a lazy dude.

I think I’ll make the CW9 my next purchase. It’s big enough to shoot for fun and slim enough for IWB carry if I need a bigger carry gun than my 380 I have a shield 9 too that has been perfect but I’m not in love with it. It’s good but nothing special.

mpgo4th, I put in a Lakeline striker when mine failed. I would suggest that you replace it right away as it seems to be the weak spot n the pistol. Many failures reported here. also have a lot of dry fire time on m CW380.

I love underwood ammo and use it in many of my guns. I’ve read that the xtreme line may not feed well in kahrs. I emailed Underwood for a suggestion on what to use in my cw. All recommendations from them were for +P loading in 380. I know there is no spec for this so I called Kahr and asked if it was ok. Tech support told me that it’s rated for +P and using it was fine. I ordered a couple of boxes of 380xtp +P to function test in my gun.

0 through my CM9, it’s killing me. For one reason or another haven’t made it to the range in 2 weeks. Tomorrow that will change.
