Hey, gang. I picked my P45 up from my LGS at lunch today and all I can say is WOW! It's lighter than my New Agent and barely any bigger, plus the longer barrel and real sights makes all the difference. This thing is going to carry like a dream!
Now that I actually have it, I thought I'd tell you about the great deal I got. It was listed on GunBroker by a dealer, selling it NIB, with no reserve and starting price of $0.01. He had a Buy Now price of $540.00 (which I was willing to pay), but I let my bid ride on it and WON it at $441.00!
So my total cost was $441 + $25 shipping + $25 xfer fee = $491.00!
The gun is pristine with all paperwork and no signs of wear, so I believe it's really NIB. Kahr tells me it was built on 11/10/2009.
I'll post pics this weekend in a new thread for "Official" photos of P and CW series Kahrs. Hopefully we can get it stickied and full of everyone else's pics.
Thanks again for the warm welcome and all your help here. I'll be following Jocko's prep tips prior to its first range outing sometime next week.
ETA: Crummy cell phone pic until I can take something better this weekend.
