  • At the range

Made it to the range yesterday with my new CW9. All I can say is WOW, I love this Kahr. Shot 200 rounds of WWB and 20 rounds of American Eagle and never had problem of any kind. Shot at 7,10 and 15 yards, 1" groups at 7 but 1 1/2 and 2 the further I got from the target. Thats me not the Kahr. Recoil was snappy but very manageable. This is definately a keeper. Need to get more ammo, I love shooting this pistol.

My brother got the CW9 and he is very happy with it. I've been to the range with him and his CW9 several times. He's not had one problem of any type with it. He carries it a lot.

Welcome and congratulations on the new CW9. It is a great pistol!

        That's great Jigger!

Did you buy the CW9 for carry? Is the "need to get more ammo" for more break-in?

nice report, great gun by rthe way keep your shooting at 7 yards, get damn good there and under, then play aorund further if that is what you want. Kahrs are IMO a close up personal weapon that will save ur life.

          If I couldn't own a PM9, it would definitely be a cw9 4 sure.
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

Yes it will be my CCW, now I just need to find a good holster. Anyone have any suggestions. I have over 200 rounds thru it so I feel that there is no need for more break in. But then thats a good excuse to tell the wifey. I want more ammo just so I can shoot it more. Really love shooting it.

I have a CW45, It is real close in size to the CW9 and I just got a Tagua OWB holster with a thumb break for about 40 bucks.

They are nice!!! I shot 100 rounds thru mine today at 25 ft. keeping them within the 3" grouping. havent shot in a while but I dont usually use the sights. there wont be any time to if it is a CCW. I have a Bianchi IWB holster for mine. Got it at Cabela's. I dont really care for OWB holsters but take your time getting the one YOU want otherwise you will wind up with a drawer full of holsters you dont like. DONT BUY ONE CAUSE IT IS CHEAP!!! That's what you'll get, a drawer full of cheap holsters you dont like. Also walmart has Federal 9mm FMJ for 10.47 a box. Not the best but shoots well and is cheapest I have found.

I have carried mine for over 3 years now(cw9). I use the don hume iwb. I can't even tell it's there sometimes. Especially when I am in a movie theater, very comfortable. The only other thing I added was the Hogue Jr slip on grip. I live in the desert and things get a little slippery. I have been curious about the cw 40, wondering if it feels as good in the holster and on the range.

                    enjoy.

I went to cabalas and they had a cw9 so I took a bunch of holsters from the store to the counter and just tried them all on for size till I found the one I wanted.

The nearest Cabelas to me is 150 miles away. Besides when I get in places like that I always buy things (as my wife would say) that I don't need. Have a Gander Mtn close, I'll have to check there.

I just got back from a place called Odyssey martial arts. they have all kinds of holsters there. Had my ruger sp 101 357 3 1/16th" barrel with me and picked out a nice reversible holster made by Vega holsters. It has a belt clip that can be changed to both sides so it has many uses. Covers my trigger and hammer perfect! They do make all kinds of holsters for everything. This one is suede on the outside and leather on the inside. Nice strong belt clip. Made in italy and was 29 bucks. It feels great compared to my soft uncle mikes belt clip POS. Check them out at www.vegaholster.com
