  • Waxing patriotic with my CW45

While the Mrs Toad is out to the doctor and running errands, I decided to do some cleaning and help the kids with the rooms(two wild small kids with lots of legos makes this a must).

I came across an old copy (well, not THAT old, but older than some members here ) of the Declaration of Independence and thought it might make a nice backdrop for my CW45 in natural lighting.

Next you could do the Constitution/Bill of Bights but maybe kids don't study that anymore. My wife teaches and hands out each little one a small pocket size copy but those are getting hard to come by.

      Nice work Mr. Toad!

        Very nice!

What I'd also like to see is a similar pic done but with a period flintlock pistol.

True enough. Unfortunately, I don't have any around the house. Maybe some day...

I found this stock photo by googling Google images with "declaration of flintlock" I think the stock photo is very artistically done. Could you copy the composition and do another pic with your Kahr?

Something like this? Remember, I'm just an amateur photographer with a few nice Kahrs.

Nothing wrong with those pictures. I say bring them on, makes a very fitting backdrop. I may try to find a better looking copy of the Federalist papers and do one.

Yes! Very well done and a big improvement in my opinion over the first.

according to the feds (and i **** you not) you'd better be REAL careful about supporting the constitution. thats what terrorists do, since they hate our freedom so much... according to these waffen SS wannabe bastards.

Side note: Isn't Maricopa County where Sheriff Joe is? And they printed this with the dept name on it? Wow! Guess that this is pretty extreme in all aspects but I sure do like to see fellow patriots taking pictures of all that is near and dear to us. Maybe he should have included an apple pie and a picture of Mom - that would have completed the whole deal too!
