  • I got it!!!! CW9

Well I got my CW9 today and I'm pleased so far with the quality and feel of the gun. First thing I did was take it apart and clean thoroughly with brake clean (been using that on my other guns too) and lubed the gun real good. I actually just finished the 500th rack a few minutes ago and I feel it in my arms! Not a bad work-out actually. My wife gave me "the look" when I started racking and I almost busted out laughing! Now I need to find some more mags, place an order and go run some rounds. I'm participating in a charity ride event on saturday (cycling) so I plan on running 200rds of FMJ on sunday and I'll report back the range trip. I already have a CrossBreed snapside on order and need to find a good IWB to go with it. I'm happy so far and if everything goes well, which I'm sure it will, there will be a few more Kahrs in my future. I would really like a K9 with some wood grips and a black slide.
Kahr CW9, 650 rounds Zero failers. I love it!

Welcome, I hope you enjoy your CW9 as much as I do mine. I liked it so much I purchased a CW45 and a CM9 also.

      you're gonna love it.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Congrats you'll love shooting and carrying it its so concealable. I got a CB minituck and a Remora holster and they are both great. Enjoy.

Glad to read that you've got the gun now and like the feel and quality. Your prep work should help the break-in go more smoothly - maybe even without incident through the 200 rounds. Be sure to give use your range report.

I had forgot to add that I polished the feedramp. I was out of metal polish so I used a little tooth paste. Has a nice shiny finish.

I really want to get a CM9 to be a little brother to my CW9..The trigger on these guns blows away the LC9...

I agree 100%. I was pretty excited about the LC9 and in my research I found people comparing it to the CW9. Well I somewhat remembered handling a P9 a long time ago but didnt buy it because I didnt know anything about Kahrs, but I remembered it felt great in my hands. So when I went to the gun shop I handled both and decided to go with the Kahr. I didnt like the trigger on the LC9 plus I think the Kahr weighs a few ozs less and looks better too! Needless to say I'm happy with my decision!
