  • P380 Brass in Face

I recently had the chance to run a large variety of different ammo through my P380. I noticed that some of the faster varieties would send the brass straight back into my noggin while the slower rounds had the brass kicking nicely down the line to my right.

I've probably run about 500 rounds through the gun and would hate to think it's time for a new recoil spring so soon. I have some spares here and the old spring is about 1/4" shorter than the new spring. I went ahead and made the swap. Just wondering if this is normal with what others have noticed with their P380s.

Had the same problem and fixed it with extractor spring. Started in the 600-700 round count.

Thanks for that tip. I'll order a spring from Kahr when I put in my next parts order.
