Just got back from some range time with my new(to me) P40.(P4044) Gun shoots super. Got 150 rounds through it. Got it used from Bud's. They have a good return policy and some kind of 30 day money back guarantee.
PROs: The black finish looks great. At 15 ft, it would put round after round through the same hole. Did some double taps and some draw and shoot drills. Pretty good. . .I tended to be about 2 inches low, so I have work to do. Not bad for a used gun. It really points well for me. My 1911's should be scared!
CONs: The only negative is someone has tried to beat on the FR sight and bent it. Didn't affect accuracy much and I plan to buy night sights. I guess sooner rather than later!!
OTHER: Now I need a carry rig. I'm still settling in on that. I'm thinking kydex, but there is a nice leather rig out there I'm thinking about too.
