My CT laser was sight with the aid of a bore sight. The gun shoots POA/ POI. I use sight image 3 or 2 but my front dot rides on top of the back sight not inside the gap, kind like the dot on top of an i.....For this reason as Jocko said I practice with the front sight….and it works for me. The photo is not perfectly aligned but it gives the idea.

Thanks, 340pd! That helps mo' betta! I've used position #2 for the most part, but find that #3 will give me the best shot. Just kinda bugs me that part of my target is blocked by the sight. Either way, I can live with it...(pardon the pun).

My PM9 is definitely a "sight image #3". I have the Meprolight Tru Dot night sights.

Thing is, I don't like it. I am accustomed to "sight image #2", a center hold with all my other guns. I want to change it. This can be changed by going to some combination of a taller rear / shorter front sight. My current front sight is .185" tall. Dawson Precision offers a tritium front sight that is .155" tall. Would this .03" be enough to change my point of impact?

If not, a taller rear sight is needed. Anyone have any height specs on either the Dawson Precision tritium 2 dot rear or the Novak tritium 2 dot rear?
