  • Do you own a PM9, CM9, Both

Seems the CM9s are selling like hotcakes. I'm curious how the number of CM9 owners stacks up to the PM crowd.

I got mine from Bud's Gun Shop at 398. I saw them for a while on the front page of "Hot Sellers" and they had lowered the price to 377. They have a ton of reviews on there so I imagine they are selling like crazy. And now that the CM40 is out, I bet they will sell just as well.

Picked up my CM9 at the gun show on Sunday for $390, checked the local gunshop today when I went to buy a spare magazine and the CM9s were selling for $478, I think I got a good deal.

Hard to say for certain but I probably would have bought the CM9 instead of the PM9 were it available at time of purchase.

Personally ifin I were interested in the PM45 I'd wait for the CM45 (and wait for the early adapters to post their range reports).

CM9 wasn't available when I bought my PM9, either. I'd still opt for the PM9 today, however, because of the availability of the black diamond slide finish and night sights.

That is assuming I'd still buy the Kahr. The Sig P938 might have changed my answer.

I understand that the trigger pull on the 938 is about 8.5 lb, and you would have to pay a certified Sig armorer a lot of money to improve on it.
                  Very interesting...

No, actually I could/will simply tune it myself. As I did my P238, my Mustang before that, and most all my 1911s.

If anyone feels a clean 8.5# sa break is an issue, and many folk won't have a problem with that, any decent gunsmith should be able to get it down to 6# without breaking a sweat.

Hell, my carry J-frames run 8#+/- DA and they aren't a problem.

Just got CM9 for myself and the wife to share, but thinking seriously about the CW9 to add....cheaper than dirt has it for $328...can't pass that up!

                            CM9.
A few coughs with PMC ammo on start-up (slide not locking back after last rd.), but after a new slide spring and running 250 rds. of decent ammo (rem express, AE), it now eats everything.
Trijicon nightsights and a CT added....target remains spot on.
Cost? Well, I traded a KelTec CF9 for the CM9, and since the local dealer sold me both....and knew I was miffed about the KT, my deal was, shall I say, not representative.

Both are great pistols! I went looking for a CM9 and found a barely used PM9 with 3 mags for the price of the CM9.
