Nice choice. Welcome to the asyl..er forum. Good luck!

Of course the break-in period will be with ball ammo.

Welcome, Pontificator! (Love that screen name!)

Did you read and follow the "Proper prep of a new Kahr" and "Kahr Lube Chart" stickies in the Kahr-Tech section? Definitely do that and have a very good range session.
        Very interesting...

Great little pistol you have there. Lube it and shoot the snot out of it. They are very accurate and a hoot to shoot. I advise you to sell a kidney and buy all the ammo you can get.. Seems like I'm always out of 9mm. Enjoy...Mike

Just back from the range and the PM9 was nearly flawless. Shot 100 rounds (rotating both magazines) of a mixture of WWB, Speer Lawman, and PMC Bronze, all ball ammo, and it fed and fired all of it with no problems. Accuracy-wise it seemed to prefer the Lawman by a slight margin although all were good. - After that I tried two brands of hollow points; Remington Golden Saber 124gr. and Federal HST 124gr. +P. Out of the 13 rounds of each I fired, the Golden Sabers failed to feed on every second or third round. The HSTs however fed and fired just like the ball ammo and accuracy was very good. - All in all I am very impressed so far with the PM9. Perceived recoil was as good or better than other small nines I have shot and the accuracy, when I did my part, was excellent. I'll continue this week with the recommended 200 round break-in procedure but I can already tell this pistol is good to go.
