I have a new PM45 since Xmas and took her out twice 1.Session 200 rds fmj 230 and last week 175 rds fmj (all 230 s win/rem/pmc). The gun is deadly accurate and fun to shoot. I was wearing a Baseball cap because I 've read here on this forum that shells being ejected towards face.so I was prepared, lol and did all the prep work necessary (precribed; lube/cleaning/racking the slide ect) to make it reliable. I got hit in the forehead ( bounced of the cap, lol), but only in session 1. I ,ve had numerus FTF/fTE in both sessions. Shells have been ejected properly in session 2. Session 2 lasted 175 rds and towards the end I 've had to put my thump on the slide release lever to prevent it from coming out of the frame. I discovered that the slide release pin has play and jammin the slide.I had numerous times problems when I had only 1 or 2 rounds in the mag and the slide would not close completely.I would like to perfect this gun for daily CCW and appreciate all creative and knowledgeable input to make the PM45 perfect.

Did you tighten the slide stop spring in the frame. Don't overtighten because the frame is plastic.

No, I didn't ! I don't have a torx driver for that size and I want to find a permanent fix for this problem because you can only tighten it so often before that polymer frame will wear at that side. Kahr should come up with some steel insert or shim to give that area more stability.thank you anyway for your quick response.

Got two. One at a frame, Kahr made it right in less than two weeks total time. The other I got used, it works just fine. Both do now. They'll bobble on long reloads, but on any factory ammo... they run 100 percent.

Mine went back 3 times. All for the same thing ,ftf's. 1st & 2nd time back all they did was polish the feed ramp. Third time I had pictures and I wrote a note explaining the problem. I also noted that a State Trooper that was at the range had fired it and got the same results. Came back with a new barrel and recoil spring. Has been flawless since.

Mine went back twice for the same problem, numerous FTF and jams. The second time I sent the gun back Kahr called me and told me that the gun could not be made to function reliably and they were sending a new gun. The new gun functioned flawlessly from the first round. JL
