It depeneded with mu gun. Ist time 8 days but it was not fixed. 2nd time it was 2 weeks, this time problem was fixed but the broke the trigger pivot off below the frame. Sent a picture to them and they said they would have it picked up again. 3rd time was 10 days all fixed-up this time. I'm happy with it now.

When you spoke to cs how long did they tell you? Rich originally told me it could be as long as 5 weeks. You can send an email when you want to them to check on the status. I did not want to rush them because I wanted it done right. I was insistant on knowing when the day the gun was shipped back so I could be home to sign for it.

Time is a relative thing. It always seems longer when the relatives are over.

Well it could be a really, really long time according to some people on this forum due to the thousands and thousands of guns that are in for warranty service.

Hope it comes back to you soon.

How long is too long for you? 3 weeks? 5 weeks? Why does it take that long? That's usually a sign they have a limited number of staff to dedicate to fixing their defective products or they're swamped.

Yeah now some of you on here are like,

Kahr makes billions and billions of handguns. That makes you a statisical anamoly. Hell, it was probably you're own fault too that the gun didn't work. You didn't hold it right, not enough oil, too much oil, you didn't rack 6000 times before you fired, used crappy ammo, maybe you didn't howl at the moon or turn counter clockwise in the northern hemisphere before you shot it.

Yeah, we'll get our guns back some day but weeks is a little dissapointing form a place that's supposed to be first class.

I'm honestly beginning to think that no matter what happens, or how quick or how well Kahr manages your issues that you're always going to be upset about your gun.

It's probably best if you peddle it when it comes back and move on to another brand. Sorry it didn't work out for you. Good luck with your next gun.

That notch in the rail is supposed to be there

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."
                          --Thomas Jefferson (1764).

My new PM9 Black P9094N was picked up on Friday 2/24 from my LGS to have a scratch in the black finish "repaired". Doug promised a one to two day turnaround time. Should arrive on Monday 2/27 at the mothership. Hoping to have it back by Thursday or Friday of this week.

I thought it would be easier to have a defect in the finish repaired prior to my taking possession of the handgun. Kahr has been very responsive to a single email I sent last Saturday. Very happy so far.

                              I am anxious already
