The Short Barrel ammo comes from Speer in their Gold Dot line. The only varience in the Golden Saber ammo is some are bonded and some are not. Based on my testing of the standard pressure 124 grain GS last weekend, I'm not convinced that it's worth the effort or additional cost to chase the bonded version for general defensive purposes.
The short barrel Gold Dots do run about 50 fps faster than the standard gold dots from my PM9. All gold dots are bonded so you will not see a bonded variation on the gold dot. Personally, I wouldn't bother chasing the short barrel version of the GD line because the standard version is cheaper in boxes of 50 and that allows for more practice with carry ammo.
