well I have my PM9 stippled and it was done professionaly and it looks to most like SH-T and ur right, it will hurt resale value big time, if that is ur intentions. My intentions is that I will keep this gun until the BG takes it out of my dead hands, Alof of gun mods bring zero value other than to the owner. and one has to make that decision before grabbing his wallet. certainyl grip stippling is something that u can't go back to first base again, u can modify and remodify and re re modify until you have no grip left but no going back. u did right Bronco AZ and the momma thing was just something off the top of my head, but I did hear a rumor that when you was a baby in the hopstial that your mom and dad tried to leave the hosptial with someone else's child. Just sayin, course u know how rumors get started..
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

My folks tried a two for one deal, trading someone's nice female baby for both me and my then 3 year old brother Unfortunately for them it didn't work, but they didn't think to stipple me as punishment (although 2 years later my brother did try to stipple my nose with the cigarette lighter in Mom's 78 Mercury station wagon).

Opinions do vary, I do not care for that aggressive type of stippling.. Some of the better ones I've seen are using a small needle instead of a soldering iron, see attachment.
While i do like the very thin stipples here, do you have any idea how one would stipple with a needle? If i have to sit there with a sewing needle and a lighter, and heat that ***** every time i poke the grip, i'd rather find something better to do for 80 hours ... but if there's a trick, i'm all ears :hungry:

You don't need an actual needle, take the tip for the soldering iron and grind it into a sharp narrow point. Methods vary, but many of the ones I've seen are dragging the hot point across the material making longer thin lines that can be randomized after by going across or poking them.

I have seen those used with good results as well.

That's what I used on my maiden voyage and it worked splendidly. There were several different tips that simple screw on and off the heater so you can mix and match or whatever.

I was really surprised how easily and quickly it was to do. Takes me 7 or 8 hours to checker a set of grips, I did my complete stipple in 30 minutes or less at casual speed and it would go much faster next time now that I know how it works.

That notch in the rail is supposed to be there

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."

Looks like you did a nice job. I personally am not into stippled guns as I don't always keep them and figure it might hurt more than help the resale value. If you like it that's all that really matters though.

No way Renee, there was a warning that said the mother gets really hot if you plug it in so I just put the proper tip in and turned it back and forth really fast.

Heck it might have slipped out of my hand and landed in my crotch and seriously burnt myself, then I'd have to sue McDonalds and the electric company for grievous injuries and mental anxious or lack there of.

Of course to the main house. No juice out to the outhouse so we use a lantern or take care of business before dark.
