  • Holly pm9!!

Ok just got back from the range and blowing through the first 100 rounds through my new PM9. All I can say is I have a new favorite gun! No issues, no problems, just pure bliss. I always said no how will I ever stray from my Glocks, all I can say is I want every Kahr known to man. So smooth, so tight, so wonderful. Thanks for all the advice here on KT, you guys rock.
A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove...But the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.

Yep,I know what you mean.I have a Glock 19 that I bought as my first carry gun.Since I bought my PM9,the Glock does little more than collect dust.
In the area in which I now reside, when I`m placed in a group of four or five guys,I`m known as "the smart one".God help me.

            Jkalantzis and Dietrich,

It's interesting how similar my experiences have been. I just recently got a PM9 and took it to the range. The PM9 was flawless and I am very rarely this impressed with a gun. I was amazed how well it handled even the harshest of +P loads and it was perfectly reliable through 275 or so rounds of all types of ammo including FMJ and JHP in various varietals, and +P loadings.

I too am a huge fan of the G19, which was my favorite handgun until now. At this point, I can't say I like the PM9 more than the G19, but it is getting close. I can say it is one of my favorite two or three guns (including my long guns), and it is EASILY my favorite carry gun.

Get a MiniTuck and you're set!

            Regards,

            Burns

                  2) It should be compact enough to be carried concealed for long periods of time.
                  3) It should have a very simple operating drill.
                  4) It should fire a cartridge of sufficient power.

.....just messin' with ya re: Holly/Holy....
I have an xd9sc that I carried everyday until I traded my Sig P238 for a PM9. I don't think I've carried the xd since. And for such a small 9mm, the lack of recoil was a pleasant surprise. MUCH less than an LCP or KTec P3AT and a whole lot less than a PF9.

I could never part with my g19. It is the most accurate handgun I have ever shot. No tmy carry peace but when I want to hit beer cans at 20 yards, I grab the glock, certainly not my kahr.
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border
