I'm finally sending my new CM9 back to Kahr today. They're going to inspect it to make sure everything is just as it should be. They will first try to repair (if possible) the two defects (ding in the slide & slightly warped, sharp edge on rear top of frame). If repair not possible they will replace both the frame and the slide. I told them replacement would be my choice.
Kahr told me I could return it to the dealer through whom I purchased it and they would send me another new gun, but this would have been a pain in the neck, requiring a lot of driving (no one's giving gasoline away - even here in Texas!). It was easier and cheaper to send it back directly to Kahr, besides it is a new gun and will look like a new gun when I get it back from Kahr.
The hard part is waiting to get it back.
