I don't own a PM, CM, or MK series pistol, but my CW45 and CW9 feed with the round sliding up the breech face and under the extractor before the round is chambered.

Sh!t !, I did say that. I was getting my apples and oranges mixed up. It is a control feed coming out of the mag but the extractor is still under strong spring tension as it goes into the case groove and still the edge needs to wear in.
I was getting mixed up because when I load my first round I drop it into the chamber and then drop the slide and the extractor hops the rim.
Hows that for trying to talking my way out of it?

Now I'll go hide in the corner

naw don't hide, just remember oranges are orange and apples come in all colors and the have a thing sticking out one end to. other thanthat ur OK.

Some owners have actually shortened one of the pins about .020 to relieve the extractor tension with good results. I think this is alot of what Cylinder and sldie does when they say "radius ad tune the extractor" even.
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

Thanks Jocko for the clarification. Went to the fridge to get an apple to look at. And to say "controlled feed not push feed" "control feed not push feed" " control feed not push fed"
I didn't mention that I radiused all my Khar extractor bottom edge among other internal thing when we first got all our Kahrs. I didn't ever have to do anything to relieve the tension. All the extractors on all our 1911s are also rediused
I should have known better then to post while working on another gun problem on my .22 Spikes uppers

Also, tap those mags on the back before putting them in the gun. This seats the rounds against the back of the mag.
