I received my CM9 this afternoon and fired 50rds of Winchester 9mm NATO and 50rds of WWB soon after. No feeding problems or failures to lock the slide back with the original magazine and two others I purchased. Accuracy was very good.

So, 100 initial rounds through my CM9 with no problems. I didn't even get a chance to prep it properly. My recently purchased CW9 has over 100 rounds through it now with no problems. Feeling good about my Kahrs!

Have 1100 rounds thru my new cm9Flawless!! I have found that i carry this 9mm more than my other 9mm or 40 cal and the reason is that it is so easy to conceal. It really does make a difference on how much i carry now.Its not that my smith & wessons m&p compacts are not awesome guns but the cm9 has proven it reliability and like i said you dont even know its there.

hello, first of all i must admit that i love my glocks. i had a pm 40 and loved it but sold it cause it was a bit much for me. i went back to my glock 26 but its just too thick to summer carry. i bought a new cm9. what a joy. i think its the best value in the gun world. i cant really tell any difference between the cm and the pm series. i shoot my cm9 very, very well for such a short gun. on break in i had a mis-feed and and a failure to lock back in the first two mags. other than that it has been flawless and very accurate. with my comptac IWB i dont even know i'm carrying it. i just ordered some night sights for it. it is now my EDC. sorry 26. i cant think of anything that i would improve on my CM9. it is a great value.

Just passed the 1,000 round mark with my cm9. Flawless performance so far, with wwb, golden sabers, and gold dots. I carry it every day.

I have a CM9 with 700+ rounds through it. Haven't had much shooting time with it lately since I've been shooting other ones because the CM9 is so reliable. Load it, pull the trigger, it shoots, ejects, chambers next round, and hits the target every time.

I've been shooting the Beretta and .22's lately. I need to add a .45 to the collection.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I've had mine about 6 months or so. I love the little pistol. I had like 2 jams in my first 200 but flawless after that. I have about 500 rounds through mine now. I have been buying ammo. We're getting an indoor range in my town at the end of June. I'll putting more rounds through it then. My CM9 is carried daily. I have friends with various other pistols. I haven't found one I like better for my daily companion.

Damn; this is a good thread..
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

Bought my pm9 last July, one ftf on the 7 rounder first time out but I think I didn't push the rounds all the way back. Been careful about that and not a single issue since then. I thought it would feel weird to curl my pinky under but I don't even notice it really and this pistol is more accurate than anything that small should ever be... I still thank God I couldn't find a kt pf-9 when I was looking and didn't know any better

I'll give this two giant AMENs!

Shooting my friends Pf9 wasn't fun - at all. But my Kahr CM9 was the only fun to shoot subcompact 9mm until the M&P Shield was released (I've shot both and like both a lot). I have total faith in my CM9 to defend my life with probably ballpark 2000+ rounds through it. The only trouble it has is with my light handloads, which is typical in such a small platform with a stout recoil spring. But with factory ammo and all the hot stuff (HP or FMJ), it eats it like candy. I have complete faith in this gun!

Also, it's become much more fun to shoot after adding Talon Grips... Highly recommended!

                        CM9 Range Experience

I purchased a Kahr CM9 about a week ago from Shooters in Jacksonville for $412.00 out the door.

Last night my son and I went to the range and we ran (245 rounds with only two six round magazines) through it in a half an hour with no misfeeds, etc. I used (100 rounds) Federal 115 gr. FMC, (50 rounds) Winchester White box 115 gr. FMC (dirty ammo), (50 rounds) CCI Blazer/Aluminum cases 115 gr FMC, (25 rounds) Hornady Zombie 124 gr. HP and (20 rounds) of Gold Dot 124 gr +P HP.

We had absolutely no problems with the CM9 (my son found out how hot the slide gets-ouch!). I have had a PM9 and PM40 before and did read the manual.

AS LONG AS YOU LOAD A MAGAZINE FROM THE SLIDE BACK LOCKED POSITION, INSERT MAGAZINE AND LOAD USING THE SLIDE LOCK RELEASE LEVER IT LOADS CORRECTLY. I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM USING THIS FACTORY RECOMMENDED TECHNIQUE WITH MY PM9 OR PM40 AND NOW THE CM9.

I am currently waiting for my CT laserguard to arrive on Monday, to include my PJ Holster IWB Tuckable holster ($50.00).

Note: My wife owns the PM9 "Black Rose" and she has never had any issues with it. (hers cost me a boatload more than my CM9!!!)

Do not mean to pontificate, but let me add that once purchased, one should always disassemble, clean and lube these little gems. On my wife's PM9 Black Rose, their was not any lubercant found upon initial disassembly.

Traded my CW9 with 1500+ rounds thru it for a CM9 and $85 out the door today at my local gunshop/range.

Put 200+ rounds thru it today, 1 FTF at round 202 when I tried to put 1 in the chamber then drop the mag and add 1 for the 6+1. It cleared easily, finished the mag without any other problems.

                            Ordered another magazine for it.

Came home, cleaned and lubed per instructions on here and after another range trip next week for another couple hundred rounds FMJ + 25 Hornady Critical Defense hoping it will be good to go for EDC.

Now time to search the forum for appendix IWB holsters recommendations.

So glad I stuck with Kahr vs Sig p290 or Ruger LC9 just a much better gun for me and my needs.

i now own 7 kahrs1 P380, 1 PM9 old, 1 PM9 new, 1 CW9, 1 PM40. 1 CW40, 1 PM45 had to send P380 back but it works fine now. old style PM9 took about 400 Rounds to get running right but i did not know about kahr forum and how to prep it. PM9 has been EDC for past 5 years i think you can see i must like them.
