I realize this thread is fairly old, but I just wanted to say I am new to the forum and was searching for ways to make my grip on my CW9 more comfortable. I found this thread and was skeptical of the inner tube trick, but I figured what the heck it is cheap and I will try it. I must say if you take your time, turn the inner tube inside out to hide the seams etc it really is a nice result. Thank you to the OP for the suggestion I really appreciate it.Comment

I really like my Hogue, it has the finger groove which gives me great purchase on the draw. Only downside is that it shifts slowly, so you have to move it back here and there. No biggie. I assume the bike tube does not move...
