george zimmerman told me!!! Just sayin
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

I really don't want to use one of those slip-on rubber grips (I use one on my Smith) due to the fact that I carry this as a pocket pistol, and want NOTHING that can catch or stop the gun from slipping out of my in the pocket holster.

They do make the grip extensions for this model, though, right?

They do make a grip extension, but its going to hinder your pocket carry. I would serioulsy look into the talon grips (or something like kahrs agrip) makes a huge diffference in grip without adding length to the grip.

Well, the extension will mostly be for trips to the range, as I plan on carrying with the flat buttlpate installed.

Would you recommend the granulate or the rubber Talon grips? They look interesting, but the granulate ones look like they might strip the flesh from my hands during that hard recoil, hehe.

I have the rubber on mine, and it made a world of difference! I know when i got the intall instructions for the rubber ones, it mentioned being able to sand the granulated ones down a little if they were too rough for your liking. Ive also heard some people say if you plan to carry with the grip against skin then the granulated is too rough, but the rubber works great. I have no regrets with the rubber grips on my cm9... they made a big big difference in the grip for me.

They do make grip extensions for this model, yes? If so, I'll definately get one for when I go to the range.
I'm not particularly recoil sensitive, but this makes me glad I bought a MK40. It's almost exactly the same size, but weighs a half pound more, which takes it out of the 'pocket gun' category. However, it is also quite accurate for such a small pistol. Any flyers were my fault, not the gun's.

So, I put 150 rounds through it yesterday. Functioned flawlessly, I must say. I checked the follower after each magazine to see if it was having issues, and it was just fine. Maybe just got a bad follower the first time. Anyway, I ran 3 different brands through it, Blazer, Tula, and Golden Saber (all 180 grain). All three worked just fine, and were accurate as all get out (as in seriously accurate). The guy 2 lanes down was shooting a small .380 and I watched him a bit. Good form, and was steady, but his shots were all over the freakin' place, while my CM40 was putting them in a very small area, which I was quite impressed with.

I bought a CM40 a few weeks back, and had the exact same problem on my first 5 rounds. It continued to function, so I shot 75 rounds through it. I called Kahr and they recommended I send it back in to make sure that everything was lined up correctly. Sounds like I should have just taken the offer to have a few replacements sent. Just out of curiosity, did they offer you the opportunity to send it back in at their expense?
The recoil is "in the house", but I didn't think it was severe, and I always considered myself somewhat recoil-sensitive. My biggest issue was that I hadn't done anything about the cheese-grater grip, and after that first 5 rounds, I had to put a glove on.
I did have some aiming issues (which is different than accuracy issues). Most of my shots were left of center, and a tad bit low. I thought I was going to have to adjust the sights, but when I really slowed down and concentrated, it hit dead center (although in SD situations, I doubt the BG will stand still while I get it just right). When I get it back, I'll spend some more time trying to get used to the sight picture.
I'm glad you've had no further issues. I hope that's the way it will go for me. I really like the feel of this gun.
