if the price is right buy the fokker. They are great guns, if u by chance get any nit picky issues, these guys here can walk u right through um. Sadly my two PM9 (one used and 9 years old even)_ have been flawless. U can pre read the kahr tech section under propper prepping of ur kahr and there are some dandy tips there to help you get that gun right just in case. If ur LGS has this gun used, maybe u could work with him to test it before buying etc, of if something is not rightr would he do the sending ack to kahr etc. Probably no need to think about that as the pM9's are just very very reliable... My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

I have a "new style" PM9. I have experienced a few FTFeed and 1 FTE in the 600 rounds I have fired through this gun. I have also had the occasional failure of the slide to lock back after the last round of a magazine.
After the first 100 rounds all but 1 of these failures can directly be attributed to me. The 2 FTFeed failures were directly the result of me not seating the magazine firmly, the failures to lock back the slide after the last round were due to arthritis causing my thumbs to ride the slide release. The single FTE was my wife shooting, and I was not watching at the time. She is not familiar with the gun as her main shooting guns are a Glock 26 and an STI Elektra. I have no explanation for that failure, but it could very easily be shooter induced.
So, buy the gun and as jocko will advise, "shoot it like you stole it". It will not be long before you love it.

so basically u had no issues wityh the gun itself but merely shooter error, which as u stated once found is correctable... My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

My PM9 has been absolutely reliable. The only issue I have had was after a long shooting session when it got overly dirty. After a quick clean, she was back to her usual reliable self."I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend."

My CM9 (less expensive version) has been 100%The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

My PM9094NA is slightly less than a year old. I purchased it new. It has a DOB of 6/22/2011.
My current round count is 1,760 rds. It has been 99% reliable.
On the first range session with it, two magazines split/failed. They were replaced by Kahr. I had two followers break, they were replaced by Kahr. No magazine problems since.
A new Kahr recoil assembly with only 389 rds. on it failed for no apparent reason. It was promptly replaced by Kahr and the pistol has been 100% since.
Should a pistol with an MSRP of $958.00 have these problems, no but they do and they become frustrating when they do.

My pm9, pull trigger+goes bang = 100%
Great gun and best carry i have ever owned just for the fact that i actually carry it all the time nd feel weird without it. I pocket it 99% of time but have thrown iwb with certain pants.
If deal is good, buy it, clean it (great instructions here), shoot it.

By now I hope you have the gun in your possession. My PM 9 is a perfect carry gun. I DID do the magazine follower mod with 600 grit sandpaper wrapped around a pencil to modify the angle very slightly. Actually half of what was recommended in the post on this website. It a total of one minute per follower after they were removed from the magazine. Total time for all three mags was less than ten minutes from beginning to end. Gun feeds everything even when slowly closing the slide by hand. I also have the new "hot gun" of the week a M&P Shield and the Kahr is much smaller and far more capable of pocket carry."Never pet a burning dog"
