    Absolutely
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

For a Kahr???? You gotta be kidding. It is as bad as suicide if not, considering we are not supposed to rack the slide to load a round. LOL.

I have a CM9 and a P380 and can rack the slide to chamber a round in both guns with no problems. Having said that, I carry with a round in the chamber at all times. Without a round in the chamber you are carrying an unloaded gun and carrying an unloaded gun is worthless in a gunfight.

Don't have a CM9 but always in my PM9, P3AT and Glock 26. In an attempted robbery at knife point having one in the pipe, I believe, saved me from serious injury or worse.

OMG....That's almost what I was going to say!

Although my PM9 is mostly trust worthy hand racking it. I don't think I'd want to trust racking it in any situation where I'd feel the need to protect me or mine.

yea i saw a tactical video on youtube were one guy had his gun holstered without one in the pipe and a guy came around the corner with a knife drawn and the guy with the knife stabbed him 3 times while he was racking the slide.

Everyone of my pistols including the PM9 will slingshot a round into the chamber 99.9 % of the time. That's why I always carry one in the pipe.

No timeouts to use both hands to rack your pistol... just imagine someone's about to stab you or grapple with you... at best you have an unwieldy ROCK instead of a LOADED pistol... and the hand or arm you use to block the first blow could be disabled... just before the BG's coup de grâce.

In addition to a spare higher capacity magazine, I also carry my F.A.S.T. Draw Gerber on my weak side for backup. If someone is hanging onto my gun hand, I can grab my "tickler" and try to "persuade" them to let me be.
