Picked it up a week ago and finally was able to go out shooting.
So took my new CM9 for its first range trip. Went thru the Kahr prep section for pointers on how to start. Though, I will say, I've owned one of the early steel frame K9 with the black moly type finish and the only thing that I can recall doing when I first got it was just a good cleaning and then 2-300rds to break it in.
Anyway, I took an assortment of 9mm ball with me. Speer Lawman 124gr, Remington 115gr, Monarch brass case 115gr and Herters brass case 115gr. All 250rds without a single hiccup. So then put 40rds of Federal 135gr Hydrashok 'low recoil' thru it without any issues.
Had two 6rd mags and three 7rd mags and also tried two of the 7rd K9 mags and one 8rd K9 mag that I have and all mags worked without issue or any mods.
Overall am very impressed.
So now off to XS for a set of BigDots!

XS are still testing the Big Dot frony sight for the CW/CM series guns. They may be out in a few months. If you can't wait, XS will cut a dovetail for a fee and install the existing sight.
