  • What # Remora do you use for CM9

I want to purchase a Remora for IWB carry of my CM9. I have one for my LCP and on the site to purchase the holster it indicated "for the LCP" but can't find the same info for the CM9. Any help would be appreciated.

    Mine is a 3B.
It's the stakes, not the odds.

3B is meant for a longer barrel. Therefore the rubberized material will extend longer than it needs to. Also, the 3B is designed for a thinner gun so the fit will be more snug than recommended. This may seem fine in the beginning, but as you wear a Remora holster, the rubberized material will lose approximately 10% of its stickiness. The holster will still hold in the waist band but when drawing, the snugness on the gun risks drawing out the entire holster and having the trigger blocked.

Bottom line - get a #4 as recommended by Remora.

I have a #4 that I originally got for a Kel-Tec PF9. When I got my new CM9 I was happy to see that it fit in the Remora perfectly. It also fits in the same Done Hume H715 and my N82 Tactical (both also bought for the PF9).

I just downloaded their fitment chart and they don't list the CM9 yet, but they recommend using a 3B for the PM9/MK9. Not sure how the #4 would fit since it's made for the slightly larger LC9/PF9 but I'd like to test fit one this weekend. They usually have a table at my local gun show since their factory is only an hour or so south.

The Remora 3B was a my first IWB holster, and it works, but it adds a lot of bulk to the gun. Looking for something that would put less bulk in my waistband I ended up with the wonderful PJholster -- thin kydex that adds very little thickness to the package and rides very comfortably. I now use the Remora as my car holster. I jam it between the driver's seat and the transmission hump, where it's close at hand if I need it.

i have the remora 3b and pocket carry with it. it is too tall for some jeans but is grippier and drws better than the desantis (which is smaller) i have. my wife cant sew so i need to see if my mother can re-stitch it if i trim some of the excess material from the bottom so it sits deeper in the pocket. still a good holster tho. def the best materials i have seen.
