I found a used older Kahr PM9 for sale, and although the gun is in nice shape, the stainless slide looks alittle dull. What would be the best way to polish the slide to make it look new again?

Not sure what you mean by dull as the finish is supposed to be non-glare and sort of a satin finish.
Maybe it needs just a good cleaning? On the internet, the number of posts do not correlate to actual knowledge.
The notch is supposed to be there as well as the bulge at the front of the frame!

this. Or any other kind of soft (but very firm) bristled kitchen brush. Dish soap works wonders on guns, just oil afterwards.Originally posted by steveschu View PostGreen Scotch-brite and dish detergent should clean it up.
When you say polish, this would involve sanding, sanding, more sanding, keep sanding, and when you think you're done, keep sanding (all by hand) for hours and hours and days, then polishing for the same (getting a chrome like finish).......... its doable... by the patient man

u say older pM9, is the the blunt nose version slide. If so,IMO leave the gun just the way it is You have one of the necest kahrs made.
visit the kahr tech section and view the kahr luve chart and also the propper perpping thread, there are some helpful tips in there tohelp you if needed.. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border
