I have one but spring-powered air rifles are LOUD. My .22 pellet rifle gets about 800 fps and is loud... plus, cats can be pretty danged noisy if they are only wounded... and there's the cop resident in the park!

Well, get a blow gun and some kind of extremly quick poison to tip the darts with.
      Very interesting...

Maybe you could build a little shed somewhere near by, full of carpet and scratchy enjoyable stuff along with a large kitty litter vat? Maybe a few bowls of antifreeze, oh I hate myself for saying that. That's inhumane. disregard.

We could call it Wyn's Cat House.

I avoid darts, arrows or projectiles that could possibly be compared to others you may still have on house making them traceable back to you.

Around here, there are NO cats prowling . . . ever.

The coyotes get them, and small dogs too, if anyone is foolish enough to let them run loose.

Doesn't seem to be a problem.

But, don't get me started on the javelina that visit my neighbor's trash bins.

It would be so nice if something made sense for a change.

Since you're in Florida, import an alligator to the park if there's not one there already.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I haven't had a dog for over 8 years... didn't want another as it was like losing one of my children... but he once chased an alligator down the boat ramp out back and I used to see several out there. My fence was built by an idiot... on a downslope with horizontal fence panels. I added 1/2" hard cloth and boards to keep critters out. I eventually had to cut holes to allow the Eastern Glass Legless Lizards to get through as I caught several in the fence and one died before I noticed it. Unfortunately, I haven't seen one of those since before my dog died.

There could be some out there, but I haven't heard of them coming up into our areas... though they could! I could do without the danged armadillos and cats, though! Raccoons and 'possums don't bother us too much, though they've gotten rarer, too.
I like animals and try to live and let live.

Those javelina ain't the prettiest critter at the ball are they. Often want to go hunt them, we have a place up here where they are thick, not sure I want to now. I thought they were more plain pig looking.

Not partial to hunting ugly things.

I've heard that armadillo is as good or better than a tin foil hat. Any truth to that. We don't have em round these parts. No poisonous snakes or gators either and that's a good thing.
