Hey guys. Looking for night sites for my new CM. I see Kahr's web site has Trijicon which has two dots on rear. I like one dot rear config better. Does anyone know if this configuration is available for the CM.

I think xs has some big dot night sights for the cm series now and I think the rear sight is a one jdot/line type set up. I now my xs big dot noght sights for my PM kahr has the one line lighted rear sight..

I realize we all thing we need both sights lighted but with the xsbig dot night sight and the front sight being so much more visible due to tis size, thatis all one needs to see in a ight time sittuation. That rear sight will fall right in line with ur front sight when u pull it up and u just can't see the targhet, front sight and rear sight all clearny either. Ur eyes just can'
t focus that way. The front sight is ur frined always, see it clearly or as best asu can at night and u might make itholme for suppler. Just sayin

thenice thing about ur cm is that with the pinned front sioghts u can install the front sight urself.

U can buy from xs directONLYT the frot big dot sight andinstall it urself in about 5 minutes, and test out what I stated and more thanlikely ur gonna say, hell I do'tneed thatback sight. Ur factory kahr rear sight matches up with the xs front sight perfectly to. Just remember the xs big dots are basically a close acquisition fightin sight, get out beyound 15-25 yards and it c overs alot, but up close, it is just a super sight for defense purposes. IMO thatis whatur cm is anyways, a close up defense gun that will go bang when needed.

I looked at Xs sights & that is what I want. However, their web site indicates that my slide is the new style and both front & rear sights have dove tail cut. Am I missing somethinig? I don't believe the CM has a dove tail cut for front sight.

THe XS site says it requires gunsmithing for the CM. Does the XS sight have the two studs on the bottom like the factory front sight? If so' I assume I could use red "Locktight" to install??

XS has now made a pinned front sight for the cm/cw series, but they will not ship them to you to install yourself. You have to (as I just did) ship them your slide, and have them install the sights. $169 (plus your shipping to them), for sights, install, and return shipping. I was told over the phone that they will not ship them to customers because other companies that offer the pinned sight have had problems with them breaking off, and they feel that it might be install error (dont know how when its just a drop in) causing a weakness in the front sight.

So basically what all that says is if you want the xs sights (big or standard dot) you have to call them, then mail them your slide.

Isn't that like about half the price of the gun? The economic advantage over the pm gun is now spent but if it would make me happy I would do it.

Wow!! thats is expensive. Might have to go with the Trijicon as I believe I can have that one shipped to me. Any experience with the Trijicon?

I went Trijicon front sight. Was like $30 bucks. 2 minute install, done.

I will say the white around the iridium wasn't the best quality. Looked like dabbed on white out. Almost looked like it was falking. It still does what it is supposed to.
