Talon grips? How do you like 'em? Do you prefer granular or rubberized?

I applaud you for taking the class with what you carry. As classes are expensive and you're there to learn I would try to minimize gun issues especially if you only have the one gun. Depending upon range conditions I would re-lube at the lunch break and basic clean and lube the night in between.

Talons grips are great... A huge improvement imo

Good luck! I am sure interested on how the CM9 performs.

I've thought about doing the same thing, so I can't wait to hear how it goes! Best of luck!

I use an HKS mag loader with my CM9 and love it. Model 943 is the one for single-stack 9mm magazines.

I've taken that exact class. It is a good beginner class but you'll need more training to stay alive in a real fight.

Do not take that pistol to that class. You need a hi-cap Glock or similar. My doubts aren't about the gun but about your hands and particularly having to constantly step away from evolutions to reload. You'll miss a lot of info.

The crew at TR has some Glocks for participants. I think they rent them to you but it will be money well spent.

                Good luck and have fun.

                SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the last drill of the last day, if they take your gun away but want you to shoot something, grab the instructor's gun and shoot the target.
