I just bought a brand new Kahr P380 this month, serial number RC7***, and it came in Kahr brand plastic box, just the same as my CW9 did (which I bought exactly a year ago). Do different distributors get different packaging upon request? Maybe some distributors opt for cardboard to increase their margin? Just a thought, don't flame me.

Anyone seriously Jonesing for a plastic case can find them on eBay, probably for about what Kahr pays for them.
I ended up with a spare myself during my last GunBroker PM40 purchase process. It's probably in the back of a closet somewhere . . .
It would be so nice if something made sense for a change.

I read in a magazine about a month ago that Kahr was going to stop shipping the CM/CW? series with plastic casesI've still got a lot to learn, but that's ok because if you know-it-all then there's nothing left to learn. (And there's plenty of those in the firearms world already, thankfully I have not seen one on this forum)Comment
