Beautiful weather here in VA lured me to the range to continue the breakin on my new CM9. I had fired 150 Blazer Brass 115gr the first trip and had a couple FTF. Did a thorough cleaning/lube and polished the feed ramp before this trip.
I took a selection of ammo this time. Blazers, Ranger 124gr FMJ NATO, Fiocchi 124Gr JHP, Fed Hi-Shok 115Gr JHP and Golden Saber 124gr. Everything was running beautifully through it until an FTF around rd #180; happened to be a Blazer. Shot about 30 more rounds without incident. The feed ramp was getting rather dirty near the end so that may have been a factor.
This little gun continues to impress and its just a pleasure to shoot.
Question - At what point do you consider the gun "ready to carry"? Should I be concerned about that one FTF at this point?
PS: my first post on the New Members section did not earn me the coveted CM9 membership badge. Hope I said nothing to offend!
