Wolff makes a lighter striker spring, could that be what you heard about? It will lighten the trigger some.

I think Short Bus is spot on in regards to the Wolff spring..

FWIW, Kahr does not use a "connector" (as Glock does) to cause the trigger bar to release the striker. Instead, Kahr's trigger interfaces with the striker via a rotating "cocking cam". A redesigned cam could change the trigger pull on a Kahr, but other than a forum member's work (and possibly Kahr's new trigger), I know of no such cam.

I was a bit skeptical myself. But, the springs are inexpensive and my slides get torn down from time to time anyway. So, both my PM40's now have this spring installed and I am very pleased.

Starting with just one and shooting them side by side for comparison was eye opening. Haven't measured the difference in trigger pull, but subjectively it is lighter and even smoother than the already great standard trigger pull.

A couple of times another shooter has tried one or the other of my PM40 pistols. Even the fellow who had a couple Kahrs of his own seemed very impressed.

indeed and as we have read here so many times, evenkahrs factory springs seems to come in way under their advertised 7-7.5# standard weight. Seems 6+ # is about the norm and then after a few hundred rounds that poundage will even drop some more. Same thing will happen with the 5# striker spring, after a few hundred rounds ur gonna have closer to a 4.5# striker than a 5# striker, Who knows maybe even less than that. Kahrs factory springs are great and if one would just give the gun some rounds down range that trigger smooths out so nicely that some have repored even after installing the 5#striker spring that they can't tell alot of difference. to me which I am not ,, it takes a good shooter to feel the difference of 6# vs 5#...Just sayin

would not offer it , if it did that in any way. Indeed t light would but 5# isnot to light . I think glocks come with 5# factory.
