I installed a set of the rubberized Talon grips and shot the CM9 some more today. I ran another 100 rounds through it. It ate everything I fed it flawlessly, which included American Eagle 115gr FMJ & 124 FMJ and some Magtech 115gr FMJ. Not a single hiccup.

The Talon grips made a tremendous difference. They are an awesome product! The inside of my fingers begged for more when I stopped.

Thus far I'm thrilled with the CM9. It's great shooting little pistol. I'm getting better but still have some experiementing to do getting use to the trigger. I have large hands with kind of long fingers and I've always positioned the trigger about halfway between the end of my finger and the 1st knuckle on other guns. On the little Kahr, it's more comfortable to place the trigger in the joint of the 1st knuckle. If I don't then a lot of the time my knuckle hits the slight hump of the trigger guard when I pull the trigger. What position do you guys, especially those of you with large hands, place your finger on the trigger of this gun?

I also got a Sticky pocket holster for it. It seems to be a good little holster, especially for a quick trip to the store or something. It also holds really well IWB and disappears. It's a tad too bulky for front pocket carry I think, so I have a PJ pocket holster on order to try as well.

Your range report has me even more excited about my first range trip with my CM9 tomorrow! I plan on the doing at least the minimum 200 round Kahr break in requirement plus.

I found mine only took about 50 rounds to be broken in. After that I was able to fire Tula without any issues, and if it will cycle Tula...its broken in.

good report, I always just considered shootin a gun as breaking it in. I know kahr recommends 200 rounds before u piss ur pants over sumpin but basically if u buy a gun your expected to shoot it. M PMJ9 with 32K is still for megetting broken in. I doubt if I ever break it in, as I really don't know what to look for, as it worked from shot #1 to now over 32K shots later. Humm and they say somehwere else GLOCK PERFECTION??? like their the only ones????
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

I am a glock guy, but they aren't the end all of pistols. I've never had an issue removing a glock from a box and firing the crappiest ammo available from it.

My g19 has been my workhorse for year and is my primary carry piece. My new cm9 is going to be my spring/summer CCW.

I put another 50 rounds of 115gr WWB and 50 rounds of 124gr WWB NATO through it this afternoon. On round 3 of the NATO rounds, I had my first failure, a FTF. It ran the rest of them without issue.
