Uncle Mike's #3 in the pocket holster for the PM9 is perfect!! The guide on their site says #4 but it is too big and you cannot get a good grip when in your pocket for draw. Brought the #4 back to my LGS and swapped it out for the #3. Can't go wrong!

Bottom end of a closed holster can get nasty. I suppose the PM/CM 9/40
slide system might be more sensitive than others? I doubt a little fuzz
should make it not go bang. Some attention to cleanliness of your pant
pockets is good enough for me. Open holster is not a show stopper for me.

I clean my pockets out. Second you can put a large cotton patch (for gun
barrel cleaning) over the end. The reason holsters leave barrel open, weight.

Great thread. I'm going to try a leather one that has a square so gun
does not print. However pocket is lower on my list of carry system.

My carry #1 system is a leather pancake holster high and tight on my
right side. It is concealed by loose tee and then open button up kaki shirt
      or jacket.

        Love the Hedley holster

Have a Hedley holster and mag pouch for my PM9 which I really like.

          Pocket Holster for PM9

Blackhawk Sportster size 4 works wonders for me. Made of neoprene-like material that grabs the inside of your pocket so only the weapon comes out. Cost all of $9 & change at my LGS. Highly recommend it.

I've made most of my own holsters and there are several things I see wrong with yours.

First: on a pocket holster the muzzle should be covered for reasons stated above.
Second: a leather pocket holster should have the rough side of the leather facing out and the smooth side in so that the gun comes out easily and the holster grabs your pocket and stays in
Third: he's got the holster boned tightly around the gun particularly the ejection port. The fit should be loose and not form fitted so that the gun draws without taking the holster with it.

Remora pocket holsters are inexpensive and are very tacky so only the gun comes out when you draw. It can also be used for IWB if you want to switch it up.
