    Recommend me Cleaning/lube products

Break Free CLP to clean, Wilson Combat lube. I can't say enough good about Wilson's line of lube products. If its sub 20 degrees out I use Remoil

No, you don't need to worry about lubes and temperatures, I'm OCD
No sir, I do not own any guns. I sold them all in fear that they might grow legs and murder me and my family since they've been portrayed as such evil objects by our current administration

No sure what caliber but for 9 mm pistol cleaning I recommend this
      Kleen bore kit from Midway:
      http://www.midwayusa.com/product/161...-luger-caliber

      plus a cleaner-oil: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/840...ve-4-oz-liquid

      and a grease: http://www.midwayusa.com/find?sortby...mensionid=4086

      and patches - http://www.midwayusa.com/product/482...package-of-500

The reason to go with the Kleen Bore kit is it is a good quality kit and additional replacement or expansion brushes, tips and such will be available in future. The are several thread pitches available for rods and this is a common one.

You will also need qtips, paper towels and a dedicated bench towel or mat.

Break Free CLP used liberally with a nylon brush to clean. A good bronze bore brush followed by patches. Wipe down thoroughly and apply tw25-b or other gun grease to the rails. Many people don't agree that grease is necessary on the rails but Sig includes a small packet of the stuff with their guns for some reason.

Don't know that it's necessary but I grease my rails with the TW25 too. I did go for many years with just oil and never had an issue but in my only slightly wiser years grease makes good sense to me.

nice thing with tht TW25 grase other than it is a super lubricant made for firearms is tha tif u order it in the syringe applicator, u can lay a nice thin line of tw25 right down inside the slide rails and never make a mess I alsop on the polymer guns run a line of tw25 down the rais in the front dust cover of the frame also. Doesn't take much greaseif u make just a pin size holein the applicator to. thjere are other great lube points onecan use that syringe applicator for to. Just sayin..
