  • Frustrated Kahr PM9 "wannabee"

Help!! I have looked high and low for a Kahr PM9, went to a huge gun show in San Antonio, Texas this weekend and saw 1...yes one.. PM9 in at the whole show and it was WAY overpriced!!!!!. Tried 4 different gun shops in San Antonio with no luck. I was thinking of buying on-line, I have a good buddy that owns a pawn shop and has his FFL License and will do the transfer for me.

Can anybody direct me to a reputable place on-line that I may find a PM9?? I am wanting the stainless version with regular sights (PM9093)

I don't want to go the bidding route, just pay and have it shipped ASAP!

Thanks in advance for the help!!!

they are a small company and evidentely, they are selling allthey can make, one reason also why we are seeing less of the P380 kahr. they are making the bigger guns that are selling like hot cakes. My local gander mt has no PM's at allin any caliber..
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

You might keep an eye on Texas Gun Trader. Classifieds - Rifles, Shotguns, Pistols, Revolvers, Ammunition or go online and start calling as many gunshops as you can find.
Here's a couple of numbers of gunshops in the Indpls, Indiana area that normally will have anything you want in the way of guns. And since your friend has his FFL they could ship to him.

        Plainfield Shooting Supplies 317 835-6095
        Bradis Guns BRADIS 317 856-8880
Premier Arms Welcome to Premier Arms 317 858-3030
They're all good shops to deal with.

Also any local gunshop should be able to order you one.

Not exactly what you're looking for but Davidson's has the black diamond with night sights in stock.

I hot the large gunshows in Houston, and when I found my PM9 a few months ago, there was only ONE in the entire gunshow with nightsights. I was very lucky to find it.

I purchased on line and had the Kahr's sent to a FFL dealer for final paperwork. The experience was very simple and painless. I used the Gunsamerica website for locating the model of choice and followed the link to the respective dealer website. I was treated very well by the internet sales department from floridagunexchange.com

Silversfirearms.com is a very good place to look. Steve is a "good ol TN boy" . He keeps his prices low and if he doesn't have it, he gets it fast!

All I can say is good luck in your search. I'd wanted a PM9 for years but wasn't willing to pay what most places were asking (local Gander Mountain still has one for $800). Early last winter I found a small local shop about an hour away that was overstocked as it was closing down it's indoor range (shop was out in the country at the guy's farm). I scored a PM9 with the warranty card for just over $500. The cheapest I could find them online was $630 I think (Buds Gun Shop).

I just checked and Bud's has PM40s and PM45's in stock right now. I'd keep an eye on them as they get stuff in all the time. I haven't heard a bad thing from anyone who's dealt with them and have heard some stories of great service.

I have bought my XDM 9mm and Kahr PM9 using gunbroker.com and did not bid. I used the buy it now price.

Guns - Online Gun Auction - Guns at GunBroker.com

Due to shipping and local FFL fees being fixed, your purchase gets better when the price is above $550-575 due to the sales tax not being charged. The best price will be finding someone wanting to sell the PM9093 used.

Also check most of the gun forum classifieds.
I just got a used "Black Diamond" PM9 for $515 shipped ($500+15 shipping) that I found on one of the classified sites. I picked it up on Monday and it looks new in the box.
Earlier this spring I got a PM45 with Night sights for $495 shipped ($475+20 shipping). So good deals are out there....just need to be patient and be ready to buy as soon as you see one listed.
                            Good Luck,
