  • Magazines for PM45

I just received my two K725G, TP45 7-rd Extended Base magazines. The magazine base will offer a more comfortable magazine for CCW spare carry, not digging into me as the regular bases do. I couldn't see any reason for the K625. I got the K625G with the gun as a package. I hope this helps with magazine decisions. I haven't tested the K725G's, yet. I had no problems with the others.

UPDATE: (10 April 2011) I have had absolutely no problems at all with the K725G magazines. I use them at the range and as primary and reloads for PM45 at home... 7+1+7. For CCW I use the K525 with the K725G as a reload.

Appears theres no shortage of extra magazines at your house. Always a good thing. Can't have too many far as I'm concerned.

Reloads and flexibility for carry. I can carry the new mags (K725G) close to my body or in my pocket(in TK holder) more comfortably now. The regular-based ones gouge a bit.
I've been wearing the P380 in a cheapie holster around the house and outside during yard work... nice. I'll be glad when some more ammo comes in so I can shoot it without running out of ammo!
I wonder if Kahr is going to make any larger magazines for the P380. I would like to have a 7 or 8-rounder with the extended grip for a CCW reload.

Those P380 mags are so small you could have one in each pocket of your cargo pants and not even know they are there.

Really! I'm trying to wear this P380 in a cheapie UM(I cut part of that "hood" off and hemmed it up nicely) IWB with my drawstring shorts around the house in and outside when moving the hoses around or doing yard work. I always felt vulnerable outside and unarmed... with the house unlocked... and garage doors open. It's nice to have about 150 feet to the road... makes it harder for anyone to get to the house unnoticed.
Later... I really need to get to work on my taxes... standard form since my mortgage rate is 5.15% and my interest is not enough for itemization anymore. Taxes are still a pain in the butt, though. We probably owe money because of all the"stimulus money" that they want back now. At least my $250 Social Security one.
