After researching for a while I bought a CM9 as a CHL carry piece. Followed the break-in procedures from this forum and shot it for the first time tonight. Happy to report 108 rounds down range with ZERO problems. The DAO trigger is a nice change from the revolvers and DA/SA semi's I've been shooting for the last 4 decades. Doesn't have as harsh of a recoil impulse as a friends Kimber Solo, and so far doesn't jam like his Solo did. Overall, I'm impressed with this pistol, and think it is a good alternative to the J-frame Smith...

Ive been shooting for over 60 years but never even been around a semi-auto. After getting my CCL wanted a gun to carry. Searched and tried them all and went for the CM9. Love it. Over 1000 rounds and not one malfunction. Think you made a great choice. Congrats.

see how that works, read the book that comes with the gun. Clean the gun. lube the gun. use good ammo in the gun. Gun goes BANG!
Great report....let us know how it goes....we encourage you, brothers, to do so even more, to seek to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands...

I carry mine in either a JP holster pocket holster or a PJ Holster AIWB holster depending on how I'm dressed.

I have the proverbial drawer full of holsters and the PJ's is by far the most comfortable IWB I have ever found for small semi's. I have one each for my Shield and PM9. They seem to work well also AWB.
I have found that the PJ's work, but are not nearly as comfortable for my Snubbies. Something about the cylinder seems to rub me."Never pet a burning dog"
