Very Nice, maintainable finish. I have a high polish K40 that I keep pristine using gun oil on a gray scotch brite pad. It stays near mirror finish that way and I can always get out the little surface abrasions. But I like the "Fine Brush" finish look very much and I don't think I would mirror polish any other guns. I might try your method on a project.Originally posted by hogsnguns View PostI started with 400 grit, then 800 grit, then 1500 grit. Then a little flitz metal polish on a rag. Very little of the Emory cloth was used. mostly flitz polish. It really does not take very long.

Men love cosmetics. That's why women wear them. Personally, I like my women and guns unadorned.
