    to all:

I recently sold my cm9. for the second time I I might add. I did it to buy an XDS. I didn't shoot it well and 3 days later it got recalled. I sold it. and I'm proud to say I'm back on kahr bandwagon with a like new PM45 with night sights. I love it. miss that kahr trigger. I just fits me.

. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

hhhmmmm.... I recently sold my CM9 too, which I wasn't using, and bought an XDs45 which I do intend to carry eventually. For the two weeks I had possession before voluntarily sending it back for the recall, I was shooting it pretty well with my reloads. I have "other" carries, so the minor inconvenience of the recall is no issue. The CW9 is still my social carry of choice when I'm not carrying a wheelie (which is most of my waking hours), but the XDs may take that role and the CW9 may become mrs. surv's "house gun".

There was absolutely nothing wrong with my CM9, except that a snubbie still fit my needs just as well. My Son still swears by his CM9, and he has my full support. Neither of us reload 9mm, so plinking is not affordable. I do load for the revolvers and .45 acp. I would have bought the CW45, but all the horror stories of mag issues made me lean to the XDs.

You're not the only one who fell off the wagon. Although my PM9 ran flawless I sold it because I didn't shoot it well enough for my liking. Replaced it with a Glock 26, and honestly, I love the Glock. It's been on my hip everyday since and has over 1000 flawless rounds through it. Sorry to report I won't be getting another PM or CM, but I have been thinking about a CW380 as a BUG/pocket gun. Also considering a S&W Airweight or Ruger LCR for that role because I've never been impressed with 380 auto. Not that I've actually seen a CW380 yet, but I heard they do exist.

I have almost identical story, almost.

I replaced my Ruger LC9 with a Glock 26 Gen4, a real firearm, no doubt. LC9 nice but G26, shoot faster, more accurately and can hold more rounds, albeit thicker and heavier. Then I got my CM9, better stock trigger than the LC9 but not as nice as stock Glock. I am keeping my CM9 as well as the G26. I like having two guns to pick from. I like having options. The CW9 is small enough to pocket. I know a guy who carries two guns, a main and backup. I am not willing to do that, except maybe in winter when I have a jacket, but it is a thought.

Yep! J-frames are hard to pass by. Here's the most recent addition to our family.

I still shoot the PM40 better and for on the waist band carry, it still rocks. But, my pocket has a new, 12 ounce occupant.

It would be so nice if something made sense for a change.

That statement says it all. It is a nice trigger. I shoot my kahr's well. The smooth trigger is easy to keep on target.

                  Congrats on that new PM45.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I too an extremely pissed about my XDS being gone for 2.5 months on recall. But i didn't sell my CM9. I loved my xds but after this mess i may never buy another SA product again. Its not about the recall its about the lack of communication and lies.

2.5 months it was gone for the recall - have I missed some back story on your experience?

As far as I know the recall was announced on 8/28, so as of tomorrow that will make it a month since it began.

Maybe it will end up being gone for 2.5 months as I am sure there are a bunch of them to do. We ought to know by say, the middle of November if you got yours in immediately when the recall started if it actually took that long.

At this point I don't feel I have been lied to. To me the process was quite painless so far.

Originally they said 30 days.. Calls to SA they are now saying 8-12 weeks before any will be shipped back. They don't even have the fix yet. They are still working on testing. No status when you call them, they are just lying at this point. So yah, i am pissed. i didn't pay $600 plus the cost of all my accessories for them to have the gun longer than i have had it.

I understand your disappointment. I hate it when something like that happens to me. It automatically turns people away. They should be making it a priority #1 and giving their customers prompt accurate details.

I want to slap you anyhow but some folks think I'm a little twisted.

I got a PM45 on my ankle so I'm ok to talk smack like that.

                              Do you enjoy being slapped?
