  • Broken Follower on CM9 After 200 rounds

To me, this is no big deal. I shot another 150 rounds with the broken follower with NO hiccups whatsoever. It sort of fixed itself. It took out the piece it didn't like and left the rest. I know Kahr will send me a new follower when I call them since I only owned it for a couple of days. Other than that, the CM9 ate everything I fed it without any regurgitation. That's right folks, I STILL love my Kahr!!!!!

Broken Follower on CM9 After 200 rounds

Agree that it's no big deal but it's possible it may always break followers unless it has some ramp work done.

muggsy: Let's face it, being shot by a .380 will ruin anyone's day.

Kahr is sending my a second follower.

I shot another 100 rounds through my CM9 today using two magazines with broken followers and it worked fine.

The only thing I think about is if someday I want to sell the CM9 I have to explain to someone that the gun shoots fine with broken followers?

SO I'm debating getting a Dremel and modifying the feed ramp myself or sending it back to Kahr... still debating it in my mind.

Unless you do the feed ramp alteration, the broken followers will keep recurring. The broken mag followers happened to me 2 separate times, so I sent it back to Kahr. It may one day effect feeding.

My CM9 would not feed the last round properly with a broken follower. If I was going to carry it, I would not risk it.

Like they said....broken follower is a symptom and you'll need to eventually get the cause fixed....feed rampectomy.
