Kahr PM9 Slide Swap (Blunt nose slide, on newer frame?) Advice Please?

Is it possible to install an older blunt nose PM9 slide onto a new PM9 frame? Will the gun work correctly? Please let me know. Thanks

I have the PM9193 version and was wondering what all I would have to do to get a standard black slide for it. Seems like the loaded chamber indicator would be deleted and maybe have to get the other barrel. Not sure if that is the extent of it.

I checked the model numbers on the web site and they appear to be the same but I don't think that is accurate.

^^^ that question sounds worthy of a call to Kahr Nytcrawler. It makes sense that a regular slide would not work on your LCI model. But not too many around here have been able to compare first hand. Another route would be to get your slide ceracoated (or similar finish)...assuming that your goal is to get a black slide.

When I get closer to trying to do it, a call to Kahr will definitely happen first.

I emailed Kahr to see what the low down on differences are. I really would rather not cerakote when I could have two different top ends I could swap out. Just for giggles.
