  • PM9093N vs PM9093NA

Greetings! I can't find a definitive answer, perhaps you folks can help. What is the difference between these two model numbers... I guess I could call Kahr, too.

The PM9093NA has night sights the other, not.

I believe they both have night sights. Bud's has the 9093N for 504.00 which seems to be a deal.

The Kahr website no longer lists the 9093N. Yes the N stands for night sights. I'm not sure what the A stands for. It is not in the Kahr legend. I did find a Calguns internet post indicating that the N model was not on the California roster but the NA models are. I'm from Ohio...is there a CA compliant model? If so what makes it compliant??? Maybe the A simply designates the beginning of some updated model. But I still wonder what updated.

Sorry, it's the 9093A which is no night sight. I think "N" is three dot night sight and "NA" is the bar-dot.

I think you might me 0-2 there Scarywoody. Kahr only offers the tritium 3-dots on new models. You can buy other types from their website though.

There are no more N's listed on the website...so something changed and they are all NA's now. OP has me curious too...

I just spoke with Kahr and they said, "Outside of the company there is no difference. It used only as an internal reference". I know they changed something on the slide a while back. If I remember, it had to do with the dovetails for the sights. The newer slides have a couple machined dimples on the underside to indicate the new version. I was informed of this when they replaced my p380 slide last year. In any case, the price with night sights isn't bad.

Thanks! Lemme know if this thing shows up and it's a blunt nose . I'd buy one of those for $504.

The basic difference between these two model numbers is the letter A. One has it and the other doesn't. I thought that the difference was quite apparent.

Great choice. However, there is nothing wrong with the PM. I just got a K9 that is great.
